School hours

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. Although we do not use bells, we do have set times for learning sessions, activities and morning tea. Understanding our learning sessions helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time by 8.00am each day. If your child is running late, please contact the front office.

While our school commences early than most schools, there is no reduction in learning hours. Every public primary school is required to teach 4 hours and 45 minutes each day. All teachers have 2 hours of release from face to face teaching each week to enable them to plan, program and assess.

For working parents, Out of School Hours (OOSH) care is available until 2:15 pm, after which students are supervised by the Guildford OOSH team.
